MissMunchkin lego-ized!

Yes, I probably should be doing something else, but my brain has turned to mush. MissMunchkin has been watching nothing but her current NetFlix selection… The Big Comfy Couch: Wiggling and Giggling aka “Moll-EEE, doll-EE!”

It has three episodes and a music video. That has been on repeat for three days! The only breaks have been for Clifford, The Little Mermaid, and three episodes of Signing Time.

Mommy has been able to watch one television show before MissMunchkin’s bedtime. But I think that’s only because she thinks that’s part of getting ready for bed now.

She just turned on the radio too. Apparently we need to watch Molly and listen to the Jeff Foxworthy Countdown. Oi! I’d turn it off, but it’s really not worth it…

Mommy had an appointment the other day, so Daddy got to watch MissMunchkin for a couple hours.

As Mommy walked out the door the water works started. (We’ve gotten real good at throwing tantrums lately.)  Mommy had one up on MissMunchkin though, she walked out the door just as “The Big Comfy Couch” came on. (Yes, this was calculated.)

By the time the theme song ended MissMunchkin realized what was on TV. She took two steps away from the door, leaned against her rocking horse with her undivided attention on the TV. Daddy wasn’t even sure she blinked. MissMunchkin stayed like that for the entire half hour show then went back to her usual antics.

By the time Mommy got home an hour and a half later, MissMunchkin was trying to get Daddy to read, while he lay, rather defeated looking, on the couch.
